Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Permanent Makeup?

You might have heard of it as micropigmentation, permanent cosmetics, derma pigmentation, or micro pigmentation. In simple words, permanent makeup is all about putting some high-quality pigment into your skin layer. Sounds scary? Nah, it's safe and pretty cool. Folks have been getting more into it, both ladies and gents. Here's the thing: it's not about changing how you look but more about boosting your natural beauty. Think of it as a tattoo that saves your time and makes your life easier. You can wake up, hit the gym, go for a swim, or even run a marathon. Your makeup will still be on point. Not bad, huh?

Why Get Permanent Makeup?

Well, if you're always on the go and have little to no time for makeup, then this is for you. It's great if you want to wake up looking fresh, or if you're an athlete who still wants to look natural. It's also a lifesaver for people with Alopecia, those who have shaky hands, scarring correction, or if you've had breast reconstruction/cancer. It can even be a good option if you're allergic to regular makeup. Honestly, it's mostly about convenience!

Will My Makeup Last Forever?

Permanent makeup does last a while, but not forever. As you get used to your new look, you might want more. You'll probably want to freshen up your makeup every few years. The darker the color, the longer it stays in your skin. Light, natural colors might fade a bit because of sun, swimming, or your body's natural responses.

How Long Until I'm All Healed Up?

This varies from person to person. With the right numbing and anesthetics, you won't see much swelling, and there's usually little to minimal bleeding. I'll give you an aftercare package and some written instructions. The treated area will start healing up within 4-8 weeks.A post touchup appointment will be scheduled by the permanent makeup artist, accordingly.

How Long Does Each Procedure Take?

Your first procedure will take about 2 ½ to 3 hours. There are records to establish, pictures to take, designs and colors to pick, the procedure to do, and aftercare requirements to discuss. Follow-ups or color refreshers usually don't take as long.

Will It Hurt?

We use a topical anesthesia to numb the areas we're treating. This should help with any minor discomfort during the procedure. Everyone's different when it comes to pain. Some people find certain areas of the face more sensitive, so we focus on making you as comfortable as possible. We have a variety of topical anesthetics to make sure your procedure is as pain-free as possible.
